Never trust wiring instructions sent via email. Cyber criminals are hacking email accounts and sending emails with fake wiring instructions. These emails are convincing and sophisticated. Always independently confirm wiring instructions in person or via a telephone call to a trusted and verified phone number (not the one on the email with instructions). Never wire money without double-checking that the wiring instructions are correct.

Nunca confíe en instrucciones de transferencia enviadas por correo electrónico. Los ciberdelincuentes están hackeando cuentas de correo y enviando mensajes con instrucciones de transferencia falsas. Estos correos son convincentes y sofisticados. Siempre confirme las instrucciones de transferencia de forma independiente, en persona o mediante una llamada telefónica a un número confiable y verificado (no el que aparece en el correo con las instrucciones). Nunca envíe dinero sin verificar dos veces que las instrucciones de transferencia sean correctas.

Huwag kailanman magtiwala sa mga tagubilin sa pagpapadala ng pera na ipinadala sa pamamagitan ng email. Ang mga cyber criminal ay nagnanakaw ng mga email account at nagpapadala ng mga pekeng tagubilin sa pagpapadala ng pera. Ang mga email na ito ay mukhang totoo at sopistikado. Laging kumpirmahin nang personal o sa pamamagitan ng tawag sa isang mapagkakatiwalaan at beripikadong numero ng telepono (hindi ang nakasaad sa email). Huwag magpadala ng pera hangga’t hindi mo nadodobleng-suri ang tama at wastong tagubilin sa pagpapadala.
